The Legacy of Unexploded Bombs in Laos
In addition to the webpage I created to complement the work of journalists Karen Coates and Jerry Redfern, senior fellows at the Schuster Institute for Investigative Journalism at Brandeis University, I wanted to make a stand-alone graphic.
My intention was to present the information in a single easy-to-read-and-share document.
Most Americans don't know about the bombing missions over Laos during the Vietnman War by American military nor are they aware that Laotians continue to live with--and die because of--unexploded ordnance that remains.
Please download (and share!) the fullsize PDF. Send it to your congressional representatives and ask them to increase U.S. spending to clean up Laos.
And read "Eternal Harvest: The Legacy of American Bombs in Laos" by Karen and Jerry.
